One of my favourite flowers is lavender. OMG … that smell! So strong, so sensual! . No wonder I have lots of bath lavender cosmetic, showers gels, bath bubbles. We even have some candels and small cushions with dried lavender hidden in our wordrobe so our clothes smell nice. Some of those cushions I made on myself (we do have quite few lavender plants in the garden) and one we brough from Venice (Burano Island precisely).

When it comes to summer me and George love spending time on the beach, sunbathing or swimming in the ocean. As we quite often go abroad to Spain, Portugal or Italy to catch some sun, last year e decided it’s time to explore south part of England. We took weekend off and hit to Cornwall, more precisely we hit to Penzance, very lovely port town on the south coast, where our hotel was.

Me and running, it’s a story and a half!:)
Early spring this year I came back to running. It has been almost 4 years since I had run for last time (not counting running for a bus;)).
I remember as a kid I run quite a lot, was taking part in some competitions, even got silver medal once. I used to love running, love the feeling of freedom that running was giving me, possibility to challenge myself to go faster, to go further with every run.

Another lovely, sunny day in the garden. After spending all day outside in the sun, drinking lots and lots of water I started thinking about how important it is for us to stay healhy. I want to share my thoughts my metods to stay hydrated, cause I know it's not always easy.
Our bodies are nearly 2/3 water, that’s why maintaining hydration is so important in order to stay healthy. It’s said that average amount of fluid needed is 1.6L for women and 2L for men and this doesn’t count fluids provide by food we eat. That just european recommendation and of course, how much fluid we really need depends on many things like how active we are, the weather or age (kids need more water than we adults).

Happy Valenitnes Day everyone! Weather hasn’t spoiled us recently at all here in Bristol. Several storms hit Great Britain in last few week. It is very, very windy and rainy. It’s quite hard to cycle to work in this weather condition, but we don’t give up. We have special clothes that save us from getting wet and protect from wind. Although we need extra power to fight with wind when we cycle up to the hill. Lets say our commute to work has been very challenging recently (I am praying for spring and nice weather every evening!:)

I have been experimenting a lots with chia pudding recently, mixing flavours, trying to find a tasty combination. When it comes to pudding I’d rather make it quiet sweet. The other day I did melon-pineapple pudding and it didn’t come up good. Don’t get me wrong I like those fruits and they are perfect combo for smoothie but it seems It didn’t work for pudding.
